This is the first day you come to Vietnam joining in our project. VVS staff will pick you up from Noi Bai airport and take you to your hotel in Hanoi. You have free leisure time today
We will take a local bus to the homestay which it will be your home during your stay in our project. After that, you can take a rest. If there is extra time, we will have a short orientation at the homestay to go through the procedures for your stay and get involved in the project. We will show you how to be safe during the trip. Moreover, you can spend time getting acquainted with local people, visiting the workplace and staffs whom you will work with.
From Day 3 to the end of duration
From Day 3, volunteers will stay at local family houses near the forest and will be involved in a variety of tasks scheduled for volunteers every day. Every day, volunteers will join in with the activities to help local communities in soil preparation, plant vegetables, trees, build house, water tank, toilet (based on each project) and feeding animals.
In good weather condition, we will organize a campfire with many activities such as sport games, music show, cooking classes and cultural exchange.
On the other hand, we also offer a chance for you to teach English for locals.
